Ford designed its career re-entry program, partnering with SWE + iRelaunch, with a STEAM focus that welcomes back experienced professionals who have left the workforce or have been underemployed for two or more years.

Participants will be able to confidently return to the workforce not only in their technical field but also in a supportive environment designed for success. The program provides career-specific, full-time work experience for a six-month period in southeastern Michigan. Program participants can expect to start in the fall of 2017. 

Throughout the program, participants will build on their past work experience and gain new skills though work aligned with their area of expertise. Participants will experience a robust curriculum with an emphasis on professional development, mentoring, networking, and exposure to senior level management preparing them to shift gears back into the workforce while learning more about Ford and our culture.

Engineer - Electrified Powertrain Climate Thermal Systems

This position will work with cross functional teams to deliver improved thermal management (engine, electrified powertrain, and climate) for next generation electrified vehicles including Hybrid Electric Vehicles, Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles and Battery Electric Vehicles.

This assignment will challenge your ability to work across multiple functions and in non-traditional environments. The Electrified Powertrain Engineering Climate & Thermal Team is at the center of delivering the next generation of electrified vehicles for Ford.

Engineer - Automotive Catalyst

The Chemical Engineering team in Ford Powertrain Research and Advanced Engineering is seeking a chemical engineer with a strong background in reaction engineering to help design catalysts for exhaust gas treatment of internal combustion engines.

Engineer - Program Attribute (Harmony/ Ergonomics/ Stowage)

Cyber Security Analyst/Planner

The Cyber Security team is responsible for driving security to enable a secure connected digital business. We are enabling the creation of a portfolio management team and need someone with strong communication, organization and planning skills to work cross-functionally and across the department. There may be occasional research into cyber security topics and supporting cyber security awareness throughout the enterprise.
