Ford Re-Entry Program

Ford's career re-entry program is for experienced professionals who have been out of the workforce or underemployed for two or more years.

Ford designed its career re-entry program, partnering with SWE + iRelaunch, with a STEAM focus that welcomes back experienced professionals who have left the workforce or have been underemployed for two or more years.

Participants will be able to confidently return to the workforce not only in their technical field but also in a supportive environment designed for success. The program provides career-specific, full-time work experience for a six-month period in southeastern Michigan. Program participants can expect to start in the fall of 2017.

Throughout the program, participants will build on their past work experience and gain new skills though work aligned with their area of expertise. Participants will experience a robust curriculum with an emphasis on professional development, mentoring, networking, and exposure to senior level management preparing them to shift gears back into the workforce while learning more about Ford and our culture.
