Plan

Ford Motor Company is transforming its more than 60-year-old Dearborn facilities into a modern, green, high-tech campus. The project will colocate 30,000 employees from 70 buildings into primarily two campus locations over a 10-year period.

The centralized campus will further drive innovation and support Ford’s transition into an auto and mobility company.

Throughout, Ford Motor Company will work closely with the city of Dearborn on our master planning activities to ensure adherence to all city guidelines and to provide updates to residents on the project.

Neighborhood Updates

If new information is available, this section will be updated the first business day of the month.

March 2017 Update:

Ford is beginning preparations for construction of its new maintenance and operations building as part of the company’s Dearborn campus transformation. The location for the new building is across from Ford’s current powertrain and fuel substation laboratory, off Snow Road and Village Road.

Preparations include tree and vegetation removal. Large trees will be harvested for reuse on campus, while smaller, less healthy trees will be turned into mulch. Work will take place between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., Monday through Friday, and continue through the end of March. Travel on Snow Road and Village Road will not be impacted.
