MEPO is an exciting three-day, interactive orientation program for Penn State incoming engineering freshman. It is designed to introduce students to the College of Engineering, the Office of Engineering Diversity and to Penn State. Students will take part in many activities, seminars and workshops that will not only prepare them for success inside the classroom, but also will prepare them for a successful career in the engineering field.
The Networking Luncheon connects participants to alumni and corporate supporters, an integral part of their success at Penn State and after graduation. Participants get to ask a panel about “real-life” studying engineering and a career in engineering. Students will sit at tables with alumnus/employer reps, and network. Through becoming a sponsor for this luncheon, Ford receives an opportunity to connect with accepted Penn State students entering their first year.
