Ford Partnership for Advanced Studies (Ford PAS)
Ford PAS is about success – in school, at work, in life.
The Ford Partnership for Advanced Studies is an award-winning academic program that brings together high school students, teachers, employers and community leaders in a unique educational partnership.
The goal is to develop a new generation of young people, who are college ready, career focused and fully equipped with the knowledge and ability to compete successfully in the global economy of the 21st century.
Ford PAS is a rigorous, project-based curriculum that helps build the foundation for success in fields such as business, engineering and technology. The program of elective courses links traditional subjects with real-world learning opportunities. Students often work together in teams, sharpening their skills in problem solving and communication in areas from sustainability and energy resources to design, manufacturing and research.
The Ford PAS experience helps students make important decisions about their future education and careers. Ford PAS programs are currently operating in more than 600 schools in 27 states. Nationwide, more than 100,000 students have developed skills using Ford PAS.
