Maintenance Schedule Guide

MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE GUIDE

To help take the guesswork out of knowing when to change your vehicle’s oil, most Ford vehicles since 2013 are equipped with an Intelligent Oil Life Monitor (IOLM), which uses actual engine operating conditions to precisely calculate oil change intervals based on your driving habits.  In addition to changing the oil in your vehicle, you should follow recommendations for tire rotations, fuel and air filter replacements, and other items specific to your vehicle.

Ford Motor Company recommends that you follow the maintenance schedule for your specific vehicle. In most conditions the Normal Duty schedule will be fine; however, some climates and driving habits will necessitate that you follow the Special Operating Conditions maintenance schedule.

You can find a copy of the maintenance schedule for your vehicle online at: owner.ford.com > Vehicle Basics > Maintenance Schedule.  Scheduled Maintenance recommendations are also located in your Owner's Manual.  If you do not have a copy of your Owner’s Manual, you can download one from owner.ford.com > Owner's Manual & Videos or www.motorcraftservice.com > Owner Guides.
